Finally after what seemed a very long winter, the 2011 aerobatic season started with the first event of the season at Skelbrooke on 2nd April run by CD Bob Rowland. Thirteen pilots across the ranks entered this event with three rounds being flown in total. A number of intermediate class pilots who gained promotion points last year were now battling for the top place in Advanced class (this used to be called Senior class in days of old), with Adam Lomax convincingly taking the top spot.
