I have never really been a devotee of R/C helicopters; I've tried several times over my 38 years of R/C flying to master them on occasions with just a limited amount of success. The models I flew to begin with were second-hand and worn out before I got them so they didn't trim well, but I wasn't to know that at the time. Later I acquired a new, more modern type, and once again I pursued to take command, with a lot more success this time. I managed to fly hovering figure eights and spot landings became easier after a lot of practice. My main problem seemed
