Sepp Uiberlacher has been aero model building for fifty plus years! Born in Austria, Sepp started building and flying with control-line models and gliders, which were popular at that time. These models were built from scratch, as kits were not available then. After finishing high school he attended the College for Watchmaking in Austria for four years. After a compulsory two years in the Austrian Air Force, he moved to England in 1967. He stayed in England for a year and although he did not pursue aero modelling, he did meet his future wife there and the following year he and his wife moved to Canada.
