Mercifully, this 4-day event coincided with the end of the 'rainy season', which had lasted for so long I forget when it started! There was one major casualty due to the weather, that being the non-availability of on-field caravanning for the duration of the event. This was very unfortunate and somewhat niggling because the field itself was fine, the access track might have allowed caravans in but was very unlikely to let them out, was the culprit! Due to the stalwart efforts of Tony Merritt, much woodchip was deposited and car access became quite good. Friday's Fun Fly was enjoyed by all, in good conditions with solid overcast and light wind all day.
