Welcome to the December issue of RC Model World. Although it should be the time to begin with festive salutations, the strange world of magazine schedules means that you'll be reading this with several weeks to go to the big day, so I'll save all that for the next issue, which will be on sale at a more appropriate time. Instead my attention is diverted to some news about Traplet's group of modelling magazines, but it's also a time that opens up great opportunities for increasing the breadth and strengthening the content of RC Model World. I'll let you read our Take Off news pages for more information, but to cut a long story short it has been decided to close our sister titles Quiet & Electric Flight International and Model Helicopter World.
