Take off R/C news and views

During October it was announced that Traplet Publications would be closing two long running R/C flight magazines. The magazines affected are Quiet & Electric Flight International and Model Helicopter World. Tom Stephenson, Traplet's Operations Director, said: "Quiet and Electric Flight Magazine has remained a popular choice for aeromodelling enthusiasts engaged in electric flight and gliding. Particularly within the electric category, our larger publication, RC Model World, has gradually been increasing its coverage of electric models. This reflects the change in electric powered models as now being a mainstream topic rather than a specialist discipline. It is for this reason that we have taken the difficult decision to make the November issue of Q&EFI the last. RC Model World offers the best value and top quality content, and we will be including even more electric and gliding news and reviews within its pages."
