Quaternary interconnections in Eurasia: Focus on Eastern Europe

This volume is devoted to the proceeding of the annual SEQS-INQUA conference "Quaternary stratigraphy and paleontology of the southern Russia: connections between Europe, Africa and Asia" held in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).June 21-26,2010. The conference hosted scientists from Europe, Asia, and North America. Most presentations focused on stratigraphic and particularly biostrati-graphic characteristics of the Quaternary deposits throughout the Eurasia. Not all presentations were finally submitted as papers, though those finalized and sent to QI give an important core of scientific discussions at the conference with a certain emphasis on the East European Quaternary biotic data.
