Market changes reflected in latest asphalt industry report

There are less than 40 asphalt-producing companies currently in Great Britain, operating almost 275 plants between them. This represents a reduction of nearly 10% in the number of companies but an increase of 3% in the number of plants, in the last five years. These companies account for a market of around 26 million tonnes per annum, an increase of 13% over the same period, although there has been little movement in the last few years.
