Developments in characterization of surface topography of rock joint

摘要

The approaches to characterizing the surface topography of a rock joint can be simply grouped into statistical approaches and fractal approaches and fractal geometrical approaches. This paper reviews the developments in characterization of the surface topography of a rock joint. Moreover, several problems of the current researches are also discussed.
