摘要

By Dr Stephan Brockhaus, Dr Hubert Lindner, Rosen Technology & Research Centre, Germany; Tom Steinvoorte, RosennEurope, Netherlands; Holger Hennerkes, Rosen Headquarters, Switzerland; and, Dr Ljiljana Djapic Oosterkamp,nStatoil, Norway. With a total length of 1,173 km, the Langeled Pipeline connects Nyhamna in Norway with Easington in the UK, and isncurrently the world’s longest subsea gas pipeline. In 2008, Rosen was awarded the contract for a single-run in-lineninspection of the pipeline. The project was both exciting and challenging due to the difficulties posed - no pipeline ofncomparable length had ever been inspected in a single run before.
