Going into May, the pipeline industry has seen partnerships formed, the commencement of projects and key projectndecisions made. In the USA, Enterprise Products Partners have teamed up with Energy Transfer Partners in a jointnventure. The Chinese and Uzbek governments have signed an agreement for principle construction and operationsnof the third stage of Turkmenistan – China Pipeline. In South America, construction has commenced on the secondnsection of the Gasoducto Cochabamba Carrasco, and in Nigeria, Saipem Contracting has been awarded a constructionncontract for a new pipeline system.
