摘要

The removal of arsenic from water by a negatively charged"lsose""(porous)nanofiltration(NF)mem- brane was investigated. To better understand the mechanisms of arsenic removal by the polymeric mem- brane, its surface charge, pore size, and separation behavior for several salt solutions(NaCl, CaCl_2, and Na_2SO_4)were first investigated. The ability of the membrane to remove inorganic arsenic species-As(III) And As(V)-from water was further evaluated.
