ALTERNATE ENERGY HOLDINGS FILES SEC PAPERS, LOOKING FOR INVESTORS

Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc., the Idaho-based green energy company looking to build a merchant nuclear plant near Mountain Home, Idaho, has filed the necessary paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission to become a "fully reporting company" and therefore more attractive to potential investors. AEHI formed just twornyears ago with a mission of pursuing energy complexes that put nuclear power facilities to not only produce electricity, but also put the waste heat from the plant to use in manufacturing biofuels. The company has already been in discussions with several foreign investors, according to AEHI CEO Don Gillispie, but until filing securities registrations, the discussions were only preliminary. "This kind of opens our door for investors," Gillispie told NNB Monitor last week.
