Rodman J. Zilenziger, Founder, Rodman Media, Dies

Rodman J. Zilenziger, the founder of Rodman Publishing Corporation (now, Rodman Media Corporation), died on Feb. 2, 2014. He was 85, In 1964, while serving as vice president of sales for Dorland Publishing, Mr. Zilenziger co-launched Detergent Age, which would ultimately be renamed Household And Personal Products Industry (HAPPI), the leading business-to-business trade magazine in the global household and personal care space. He followed that success up in 1970 with the launch of Nonwovens Industry, the No. 1 magazine in the global nonwovens industry. He created Rodman Publishing Corp. in 1978 and went on to launch other B-to-B titles over the years before retiring in 1993.
