Pact and Channel 4 mull compromise over rights

Channel 4 warned this week that it would only compromise so far with producers' association Pact on the issue of new-media distribution rights. Pact (the Producers' Alliance for Cinema and Television) has been at odds with Channel 4 over the broadcaster's call for a 30-day primary window, which compares with the seven-day window negotiated by the BBC for its catch-up service.
