Chair Of National Troopers' Coalition Is One Of Our Own

Many of you who don't happen to wear maroon uniforms may not have known that this year's National Troopers' Coalition Conference held in Austin, Texas elected one of our very own MPPOA Board members as their new Chairman. State Trooper Mathew Hodapp served on the NTC's board for over 12 years before receiving the gavel he'll wield for a two-year term. This November Mat began his 30th year with the MN State Patrol. He's currently assigned as a sergeant to the Investigative Services Section's vehicle crimes unit out of Golden Valley. Mat's served on the MN Trooper's Association board of directors for over 22 years. Mat has served as President of the MSPTA from 1995-2002, and again from 2007 to present day when he was re-elected to fill the seat left by retired Trooper Tim Jensen. A veteran of the MPPOA board since 1999, Mat has served on the budget and legal defense fund committees.
