Elbit Systems of America to redesign, upgrade Boeing Apache Block III AH-64D Mission Processor

The Airborne Solutions division of Elbit Systems of America LLC in Fort Worth, Texas, will redesign and upgrade the Apache Block III AH-64D mission processor to provide performance and technology improvements, as well as to combat component obsolescence. Elbit, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. in Haifa, Israel, is doing the work under terms of a $17.5 million contract from The Boeing Co., the prime systems integrator for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter.
