But at the end of 1995, when, after another site visit by the judging team, Trident Precision was told for the fourth time that they would not receive the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, an important goal for the year was left unfulfilled. As a contract manufacturer, they were a valued resource to their customers and a respected and involved community asset, the judges had told them...but then they asked, "What do your employees really think of you?"
