NEW INITIATIVE FOR THE PROMOTION OF HIGH QUALITY ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHTING PRODUCTS

As consumers become more aware of quality and energy efficiency across all products, there is a need and an expectation of more information being provided in relation to the performance of lighting products. There has been a positive step to address this with the announcement on 29th October in Hong Kong of the launch of the Asia Lighting Compact (ALC). The ALC is a partnership of governments, regional lighting associations and the world's largest lighting manufacturers with a mission to support the widespread adoption of high-quality energy efficient lighting in Asia.
