A Study on the Application of Disaggregate Behavioral Model/Nested Choice Model to the Airport Access Mode Choice for Various Travel Purpse

This paper examines the applicability of disaggregate behavioral modle and nested choice model to the Airport Access Mode. Travel purposes are classified in to three categories; business, sightseeing tour and private tour are used on the model. For the nested choice model, three choice patterns of traffic mode are assumed. Two models are applied tothe case fo Fukuoka airport passengers. It was revealed that traveler's behavior well depend on their purpose. It was well represented by disaggregated behavioral model. It was also revealed that nested choice model wall represents the traveler's access mode choices.
