摘要

Denver Seminary formulated a program that used mentoring (one-on-one mentoring and small group participation) and practical application of learning (character and competency contracts) to help prepare its graduates for the actual demands of ministry work. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate how Denver Seminary's training and mentoring program may or may not have been helpful to these graduates now that they are out of the seminary. The study revealed that mentoring relationships and learning contracts were most helpful to the respondents in the study, had the most impact on the respondents' current job satisfaction, and had a positive effect on the transfer of seminary learning to subsequent ministerial occupations.
