SYNTHESIS OF BSCCO AMORPHOUS MATERIALS BY MELT-QUENCHED METHOD

摘要

Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O (BSCCO) amorphous materials were synthesized by melt-quenched method and their physical properties were measured. The microstructures of amorphous materials were observed by using the scanning electron microscope (SEM). The crystal structures were measured and simulated by using x-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and visualization of crystal structure (VICS) software, respectively. Elastically properties and microhardness were measured and evaluated by using ultrasonic sound velocity measuring device and micro hardness tester, respectively. It found that, the BSCCO amorphous materials have been shown those three phases composed was Bi2Sr2CuO6 (Bi-2201), Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O_8 (Bi-2212) and Bi_2Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_(10) (Bi-2223), these phases confirmed by the XRD analysis. The BSCCO amorphous materials have been a good value of bulk modulus, (B) Young's modulus, (E) Shear modulus (G) and Vickers hardness, (H_V), these properties were corresponded to the base thermoelectric materials.
