The issue of pollution for transport operators and their customers

UITP believes that the issue of pollution is not just a problem for transport operators and their customers but one for the general public to consider as well. Public transport companies really ought to think of the entire population as potential customers. Reducing pollution is clearly one way of improving its public image and, in the long run, winning new market share.
