Nobody can prove the future. The basic premise is uncertainty. However, every decision has a bearing on the future, so we are forced to discuss it and decide what tendencies we date to base investments on. This is particularly true of transport, a sector in which plans have to be long-term, often 15 to 25 years into the future.
