Northern Ireland is a region of the UK with a population of 1.5 million people, and those who have never visited Ireland may be familiar with television pictures of terrorism and civil disorder which has extended over three decades. Thankfully, the last few weeks of the Millennium have seen the implementation of a political set- tlement named 'The Good Friday Agreement' after the holy day on which it Was signed by the parties.
