Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Hot Pressed TiB_2—ZrO_2 Composites

摘要

The partially stabilized ZrO_2(PSZ) particles were introduced into TiB_2 ceramics to improve its density and mechanical properties. The results show that the addition of PSZ is very e-ffective not only in bettering the sinterability but also in enhancing the flexural strength and fracture toughness of TiB_2.
