摘要

The authors' work addresses the modeling of severe flood scenarios in urban street crossings by combining the analysis of numerical simulations and experimental results. In particular, the depth-integrated shallow water equations were solved numerically by a Runge-Kutta discontinuous Galerkin (RKDG) method, and solutions were compared with those obtained by a finite-volume (FV) method described in Wang and Liu (2000) and by experimental tests performed in a physical model introduced by Mignot et al. (2008).
