Mapping Forestry, edited by Peter Eredics, is a new collection of forestry-oriented GIS case studies that vividly illustrate the power of geographic information systems (GIS) to store and exploit ever-expanding forest resource data. The book's most compelling case studies follow me combination of spatially explicit data through to the end point of providing systematic landscapewide answers to critical management questions.
