Comment on 'Zero and negative energy dissipation at information-theoretic erasure'

In a recent paper in this journal (Kish et al. in J Comput Electron, 2015), Kish, Granqvist, Khatri, and Peper misinterpreted and misapplied the central result of an earlier paper on information erasure that was published by the present author Anderson (Phys Lett A 372:5552-5555, 2008). The purpose of this Comment is to identify those errors in Kish et al., which, when corrected, no longer support claims they made about that earlier work from their misapplication of its central result.
