In academic libraries the demand for streaming content continues unabated. Vendors are responding to the demand with more choices, more options, and, potentially, more problems. Conversations about ensuring continued access and controlling budgetary costs abound in listservs, articles, and blog posts. In his first book, Eric Hartnett has assembled an introduction for those librarians interested in expanding into streaming video acquisitions as well as those librarians looking for new ways to manage their streaming acquisitions. Hartnett is an Associate Professor and Director of Electronic Resources at Texas A&M University.
