State-owned China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) has begun developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the military that can evade radar and anti-aircraft weapons, the state-owned China Daily newspaper reported on 9 March. "The company is focusing on the development of a long-endurance stealth drone and a near-space drone," CASIC deputy general manager Wei Yiyin was quoted as saying.
