Jamaica names and commissions coastguard boats

Two new naval platforms for the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) Coast Guard were named and commissioned on 28 February. HMJS Cornwall and HMJS Middlesex are Stan Patrol 4207 vessels produced by Damen Shipyards Group. This model has a steel hull, length of 42.8 m, maximum speed of 30 kt, and can carry 12-24 crew.
