UH-60V Black Hawk helicopter takes maiden flight

The maiden flight of the first Sikorsky Black Hawk transport helicopter to be fitted with the UH-60V digital cockpit upgrade developed by Northrop Grumman has taken place, it was announced on 13 February. The flight was on 19 January marking a major milestone in the service's effort to convert its analogue UH-60L helicopters with the open-architecture digital cockpit that is nearly identical to that of the latest-variant UH-60M.
