Successful collaboration energises Heathrow T5

Europe's largest engineering project, a fifth Terminal at London Heathrow airport, has proved a huge challenge to the companies charged with designing and installing its power distribution network. IPG reports. Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 has passed the halfway point in its build, as has the installation of its high voltage power supply. With the help of Schneider Electric, EDF Energy has reached a milestone by energising the 33 incoming 11 kV electrical feeds onto the distribution network.
