Very few OEMs can claim to be global. Many assert their 'worldwide' presence through one office in America and one in Europe. True global reach however is demonstrated by the ability to cover all geographic regions. A feat that Siemens Power Generation fulfills easily. A cursory glance at the project list over the past year or so gives concrete evidence, as the company won new business in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Near East, and Latin America. Additionally, Siemens' joint ventures with Areva (Framatome ANP) and Voith (Voith Siemens Hydro) have brought further success. For example, Framatome's European Pressurised Water Reactor is being developed at a new plant in Finland.
