Stand-alone recloser

Supplying a rural network with a reliable power supply can be a very complex task for many utilities, but for Eastland Network it proved to be no problem. To supply its rural network in New Zealand's sparse North Island of Gisborne, the company couldn't see any real justification in building a new, expensive conventional substation. FKI Switchgear offered it the ideal solution - a substation featuring the GVR Autorecloser. Primarily the GVR is used as a standalone recloser but also can be integrated into the most advanced distribution automation schemes.
