1. A turnaround period of 2 months is normally requested from the time that books are received. Please consult with the review editor if you cannot meet this schedule. 2. Book reviews should normally be 1000-1400 words in length. Please consult with the review editor if you would like to extend this limit (e.g. in the case of reviewing more than one book in a single contribution). International Planning Studies promotes critical and theoretical interventions and reflections on the normative development of planning and is aimed at an international audience. With this in mind, each review should contain both the fundamentals of description, analysis and appraisal, as well as critically situate the work within significant current debates and relevant fields of inquiry. 3. The review should be typed and double-spaced. Any bibliographic references should adhere to the conventions outlined in the Notes for Authors. 4. The review should begin by citing the bibliographic information of the book: title, author(s) or editor(s), date, origin, publisher, number of pages, price, ISBN; double space and add reviewer's name, affiliation and email address.
