The J. R. D. Memorial Trust had organised a series of lectures to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of the founding father of India's civil aviation, J. R. D. Tata, who had been awarded the country's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna. Among the speakers on that occasion was Shri Amitabh Khosla, IATA Country Director for India, Nepal and Bhutan, who has been rendering yeoman service to the airline industry in these countries on a wide range of concerns, like airport aeronautical changes, State and Central Government taxes, taxes on ATF (aviation turbine fuel), and the like.
