Automation in Drip Irrigation

摘要

In the field of agriculture, use of proper method of irrigation is important and it is well known that irrigation by drip is very economical and efficient. In the conventional drip system, the farmer has to keep watch on irrigation timetable, which is different for different crops. This paper explains the use of microcontroller, which makes irrigation automated. Use of low-cost sensor is the important point of the system. System also facilitates the user to set thresholds with the help of keys provided. This will help to irrigate multiple crops in the same field.
