This paper presents results from a novel 1 GHz temperaturencompensated oscillator (TCO) featuring a continuous temperaturenfrequency dependence. This work is a further development of the TCOnusing combined analogue and digital compensation. The major advantage ofnthe TCO, described here, is that there are no jumps in the temperaturenfrequency dependence which results in a significant improvement of thenspectral purity of the output signal. The overall temperatureninstability is ±1.25 ppm in the temperature range of -30 ton+60°C
