Louisiana Issues Draft GO Zone Tax Credit QAP

The Louisiana Housing Finance Agency (LHFA) has issued a final draft qualified allocation plan (QAP) for 2007 and 2008 Gulf opportunity (GO) zone low-income housing tax credits that provides for forward commitments of most of the credits in areas with severe hurricane-damaged rental housing. The draft QAP has an October 20 application deadline and requires LHFA to award all available 2007 and 2008 GO zone credits as forward commitments on December 13.
