摘要

Although the majority of low-income housing tax credit family units in large metropolitan areas have been developed in low-poverty neighborhoods, few state allocating agencies have been placing family units in racially integrated areas, according to a new study sponsored by two fair housing organizations. The study was prepared by Abt Associates, Inc. for the Poverty and Race Research Action Council and the National Fair Housing Alliance. Using information from HUD's data base of tax credit projects, the study focuses on units with two or more bedrooms placed in service between 1995 and 2003 in metropolitan areas with populations greater than 250,000.
