North Carolina Draft 2007 QAP Would Require Applicants to Designate Single Decision-Maker

The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) issued a draft 2007 low-income housing tax credit qualified allocation plan (QAP) on August 1 which would require applicants to designate a single individual or entity with authority to make decisions. The designated individual or entity would have to become the general partner or managing member of the ownership entity if the application receives tax credits. In addition, the QAP bars applicants from requesting a termination of extended affordability restrictions.
