For nearly two hundred years, the Serial Set has documented the history of the U.S. Government. Librarians have long recognized this collection of the documents of Congress and executive agencies as a goldmine of primary source materials on a broad variety of topics. But how do you create a reference book that describes the riches of this enormous (over 15,000 volumes and counting) set? Editor Andrea Sevetson and co-authors have managed to create a volume that highlights the treasures, both expected and unexpected, that make this set invaluable to researchers in a wide variety of fields.
