Azerbaan underground blaze report

A tragic fire happened in the Baku subway, Azerbaijan on October 28, 1995. The fire caused the death of 289 passengers, and 265 were severely injured (see Fire International, February 1996). BO WAHLSTROEM of the Stockholm Fire Department and PER ROHLEN from Stockholm County Council were sent to Baku by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency. This report presents their findings.
