Chief Dan Fraijo said he was forced to resign from the Prescott (Ariz.) Fire Department, rebuking earlier media reports in which Prescott City Manager Craig McCon-nell said the chief was leaving effective Nov. 15 by "mutual agreement." Instead, Fraijo said he was asked to re-retire. A clause in his salary contract said that the city or fire chief can create a separation with 30-days notice.... Northville Township (Mich.) Fire Chief Richard Marinucci this week was named executive director of the Fire Department Safety Officers Association. He replaces Bob Finley, who retired on Sept. 30.
