Flexibility to meet ever-changing power load patterns, reduced emissions and the virtual absence of smoke, increased fuel efficiency across the ship's operating profile, and a relatively high power density were key factors that led to the recent, opening contract for MAN Diesel's newly-developed 32/44CR design.
