Biological Treatment of Contaminated Air: Theory, Practice, And Everything In-Between

The papers in this special issue of Environmental Progress were developed from presentations made at the Fifth USC-TRG Conference on Biofiltration, held in Newport Beach, California, on October 31 and November 1, 2002. They are typical of the extensive work now being done on biological air treatment. The USC-TRG conferences host about 30 paper presentations on the topic every other year, and the annual conferences of the Air & Waste Management Association provide forums for about 30 more.
