When considering interference to electromagnetic systems, there are no limited areas of measurement peculiar to the subject. These areas are almost as inclusive as life itself. The measurement of electromagnetic fields has been singled out for purposes of illustration. These measurements are admittedly difficult, complex, usually involve a substitution procedure, and encompass many facets of the subject — from the radiation of the generator to the immersion of the receiver.
