It is known that the organic world of our planet experienced rapid development in the terminal Vendian to initial Cambrian (570-545 Ma BP). At the preceding stage, life on Earth was represented by very primitive organisms such as archeobacteria, cyanobacteria (prokaryotes), and unicellular planktonic organisms (eukaryotes). In the terminal Vendian, they gave way to the multicellular Ediacarian fauna, and, at the beginning of the Cambrian, by all the main types of still existing organisms with solid shells or skeletons. Slightly later, marine animals acquired a circulatory system, and their skin respiration was replaced by a more advanced pulmonary one.
